2016-17 Unrestricted Surplus $363,939

  • New Curriculum Facilitation $100,000
  • My Blueprint – career program delivery to students $7,500*
  • Emergency Procedures Program resources $7,500
  • Support for Carlin Learning Commons/Hub $15,000
  • Numeracy Program support $25,000
  • SMS Literacy Intervention Program $30,000
  • Classroom Action Inquiry Projects $5,000
  • Curriculum Leader (Ed Tech) – teacher $10,000
  • Education Assistants (Reserve) $55,000
  • PVSS Initiative – support for vulnerable students $60,000*
  • Outdoor student learning activities $5,000
  • Resources to support students in ISP Programs (LWM and ALF) $10,000
  • Report Card Initiative $20,000
  • Contingency $10,000

*My Blueprint software has already been purchased. The cost above is to teach instructors how to teach the kids the program.
*PVSS vulnerable student program like a Storefront School within PVSS; not just for students with a designation; this is for any student who may need this type of learning program; more inclusive; more progressive.

2017-18 Enrollment Increase est. $420,959*

  • Education Assistants $169,000
  • School Psychologist and Psych Ed Assessments $40,000
  • Classroom Teachers – additional classrooms $200,000
  • Indigenous Education – support for all students $10,000
  • Permission Click software $6,900
  • Principal/Vice Principal Meetings $8,000
  • Clerical Training $10,000

* Amount to be updated once enrollment is finalized on September 29th. Spending plan will be adjusted accordingly.
