  • EOP – Education Outreach Program
    The Education Outreach Program is School District 83’s Distributed Learning Program. It has been in operation since 2000. Distributed Learning takes place when a student is primarily at a distance from a teacher, usually at home. The Outreach Program is a teacher-directed program designed to respond to the varying needs of students and parents who want more choice and flexibility in education.
  • Canadian Mental Health Association
    The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), founded in 1918, is one of the oldest voluntary organizations in Canada.
  • Larch Hills
    We have endless kilometres of volunteer maintained trails and roads suitable for horses, mountain bikes and hiking. Most of our roads and trails are suitable for beginners and intermediates.
  • Shuswap Trails
    The Shuswap Trails website is dedicated to helping people from around the world find their trail in the Shuswap.
  • Salmon Arm Recreation
    The NEW Fun Guide is now out and it is filled with great programs for the whole family.
  • North and South Shuswap Community Resources
    Providing a network of programs and services to enhance the lives
    of children, youth and families living in the North and South Shuswap.
  • Shuswap Association for Community Living
    SACL provides in-house and outreach services designed to support and integrate individuals with developmental disabilities safely into the community.
  • Shuswap Children’s Association
    The Shuswap Children’s Association has been serving families and children, including children with special needs, since 1982.
    Our downtown office is located at 240 Shuswap Street NE and our Family Place and the Loft programs are located at the Downtown Activity Centre (451 Shuswap St).
  • Logix Learning Centre
    Logix Learning Centre is built on the foundation of “Learning for Success”.  Sessions are dedicated to the individualized educational development of each student.  They foster creative, hands-on independent and small group work that is purposeful and meaningful to the students learning and ability.  They are very excited to offer a formal tutoring centre to help students in our community.  Please visit them on Facebook as Logix Learning Centre, as contact information can be found there.  They are located at the Downtown Activity Centre in Salmon Arm.
  • Autism Society of BC
    To promote understanding, acceptance, and full community inclusion for people with autism in British Columbia.
  • BC Teachers Federation
    Let’s keep up the call for more education funding to meet kids’ needs.
  • Heatlhy Eating at School
    This link is jammed packed full of good eating and good reading!
  • Healthy Schools BC – Breakfast for Learning
    Breakfast for Learning is the leading, national non-profit organization solely dedicated to child nutrition programs in Canada.
  • SAFE Society
    The Shuswap Area Family Emergency Society (SAFE) was established in 1979 by a group of women in the community who recognized the need for a women’s shelter/safe haven for women experiencing violence in the home.
